With 30 years of legal and legislative experience, John Edie has advised foundations and charities throughout the United States and in many foreign countries.  For more than two decades as Senior Vice President and General Counsel for the Council on Foundations, Mr. Edie has earned a national and international reputation for his expertise in the field of nonprofit and foundation law.

As a talented writer and experienced public speaker, he offers a unique ability to explain important, complex areas of the law to directors, trustees and professional staff of a wide range of foundations and charitable institutions.
